CWCf in Colorado

Once again CWCf has the privilege of sending a team of RV’ers for Christ to the Navigators’ Glen Eyrie Conference Center in Colorado Springs, to remodel one of their guest lodges. The project is expected to run from November through April. Several of our crew arrived early, including Joe Newton, who heads up the team for us, Warren and Lori Yates, and Dennis and Darlene Korneychuk. While waiting for the remodel at Big Horn Lodge to begin, they re-roofed the gate house, and also did a repair to water-damaged walls inside the castle!

Big Horn Lodge is the largest of the guest accommodations at the Glen, and is the biggest project CWCf has undertaken for the Navigators, to date. As we’ve done for two other lodges over the past three years, Big Horn will be brought up to date with new HVAC systems and many interior improvements that will enhance the Glen Eyrie experience for conference attendees and other guests.

Check out our project roster, and contact our Project Coordinator if you’re interested in serving. If you’re not already a part of RV’ers for Christ, you can begin the process with a preliminary application right here online under our Volunteering tab.
